Acceptance of these terms

By downloading or using Formo (the “app”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”), which also serve as the end-user license agreement for the app. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use Formo. If you are a minor, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the app store rules that apply to you.

Not medical advice

Formo is a general fitness and body tracker, not a medical device or medical service. Calorie, BMI, nutrition and workout information — including AI photo estimates — is for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional before starting a diet or exercise program, and do not rely on the app for diagnosis or treatment. You use the app and perform any exercise at your own risk.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you enter and for using the app safely. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it in violation of any applicable law.

Your data and backups

Because Formo is local-first, your entries are stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and for any backups you choose to make. Deleting the app deletes locally stored data.

Premium subscriptions

Formo offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (for example weekly, monthly and yearly plans) that unlock Premium features such as AI meal photo.

• Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions, and turn off auto-renew, in your app store account settings after purchase.
• Current prices, billing periods and any free-trial terms are shown in the app and by the store before you buy. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• “Restore Purchases” is available on the Premium screen.

AI estimates

AI meal photo results are estimates and may be inaccurate. You must review and may edit calories, serving size and macronutrients before saving. Do not use these estimates for diagnosis or medical treatment.

Third-party content and services

Exercise content is derived from open exercise databases, and food data is provided by Open Food Facts, each under its own licence. Optional online features rely on providers such as OpenAI, Supabase, RevenueCat and your app store. Their terms and policies apply to your use of those services.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and the Formo name and mascot are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes

We may update the app and these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date; continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence applies.
