Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the LumiTalk app ("the App"), developed by Caner Polat. By using the App you agree to them.

1. The service

LumiTalk is an AI-powered language learning coach: personalized study plans, word lessons, quizzes, mini games and AI conversation practice (text and voice). Content is generated by artificial intelligence — it is a study aid, not a certified education program, and may occasionally contain mistakes.

2. Free tier and subscriptions

The free tier includes Day 1 of your plan, a limited number of daily chat messages, a short voice-practice introduction and one game per day.
LumiTalk Pro unlocks unlimited chat, voice practice, the full plan and unlimited games. Available as weekly, monthly or annual auto-renewing subscriptions; the annual plan may include a free trial.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Manage or cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules.

3. Your account

The App signs you in with a pseudonymous account tied to your device. You are responsible for the device you use. You can delete your account and all associated data anytime from the Profile screen.

4. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, no automated scraping, no generating unlawful or harmful content through the AI, and no circumventing usage limits. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design, the Lumi character and its content are our property. Lessons and replies generated for you may be used for your personal learning.

6. Disclaimer & liability

The App is provided "as is". AI-generated content may be inaccurate; verify anything important. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change and material updates will be announced in the App. Continued use means acceptance.

8. Governing law & contact
