Privacy Policy
The short version: your records never leave your device unless you export them yourself. Milesto has no accounts, no sign-up, and no analytics. The only third party involved is Apple (and RevenueCat) for processing subscription purchases, using an anonymous identifier.
1. Who we are
Milesto ("we", "the app") is a date-tracking application that reminds you before insurance, inspections, subscriptions, warranties, exams and other deadlines expire. For any privacy question, contact us at canerpolat.cnrplt@gmail.com.
2. Data you put into the app
Everything you enter — record names, providers, plate numbers, dates, reminder preferences, settings — is stored only in a local database on your device. We do not operate a server that receives, stores or processes this data. We cannot see it, and we cannot recover it for you if the device is lost.
3. What we do not collect
- No account or registration — the app never asks for your name, e-mail or phone number.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No advertising identifiers.
- No location, contacts, photos or calendar access.
4. Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device by the operating system. No push-notification server is involved and nothing about your reminders is transmitted anywhere. You can revoke notification permission at any time in system settings.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
Milesto Premium is sold through Apple's App Store. Payment is processed entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
To validate purchases we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts together with a randomly generated anonymous identifier — not your name, e-mail or any account information, because the app has none. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally.
6. Backups
You can export your records to a backup file from Settings. That file is created on your device and handed to the system share sheet — you choose where it goes (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, e-mail, etc.). We never receive a copy. Standard device backups (iCloud/Google) may also include the app's local data, governed by your platform provider's terms.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because all data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes the data (subject to any device backups you keep). There is nothing for us to delete on a server.
8. Children
Milesto is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy — for example, if a future version adds an optional cloud sync — we will update this page and change the effective date above. Material changes will be announced inside the app.
